Currently there are approximately 5.6 million commercial trailers registered in the U.S. This is about 3 times more than the number of commercial trucks. With that in mind, did you know that one-third of these commercial trucks (estimated at 1,900,000 trucks) that run American highways are registered in Florida, California, and Texas.
Amazingly though, there are roughly about 3.2 million CDL licensed truck drivers currently in the USA. That means most drivers use company provided trucks and either work as team drivers or hot-seat the truck they drive, because most of the trucking companies (90%) have less than 6 trucks in their fleet. Can you imagine all those miles and that freight being delivered by so few trucks!
So now you might be asking, “What does this have to do with Volvo truck dealers”? Well, you are right, it doesn’t! After all day research that I’ve made for Volvo dealerships, I came across this information, and I felt like sheering it with you!
So, this brings us back to Volvo truck dealers. As we all know Volvo is good name with a good reputation. I am sure there are those who will agree and those who will disagree and the one that will agree to disagree! But considering they have been around since 1927, they must be doing something right!
