Continuous poor-quality sleep plays role in raising blood pressure. As difficult as it is to get a regular, deep sleep, truck drivers should try and get their much needed rest. Good night 6-8 hours rest should be your priority!

We all know that the person’s blood pressure naturally rises and falls during the day. The lowest point it’s usually during the middle of the night, and the highest is in the middle of the afternoon.

For chronically sleep-deprived truck drivers, a short nap during the day it’s a MUST! Taking that 45-minute nap will lower your blood pressure. On the other side, lack of sleep or less sleep it’s linked to increased risk of hypertension and heart problems.
