The reasons why these price variations and differences happen most of the time are one of the following:
- airport locations have higher prices due to higher state and city taxes that are in place for those areas
- certain counties and cities also have higher prices which can affect the rental prices
- some locations are a franchise and some locations can be company owned. Sometimes this can have a direct impact on pricing policy.
- there are some locations offering some perks and promotions that can’t be found somewhere else or that can’t be found in the same way
Check if There is Extra Charge in Case of Different Pickup and Drop Off Locations
Usually, there is an extra charge of you want to pick up the truck at one location and leave it on another one.
These kinds of arrangements create additional work for the renters and for that reason they want to charge their customers extra fees for requesting these kinds of service.
Price for this kind of request can vary from $50 all the way up to $200 according to my renting experience.
