Keep in mind nothing is a sure thing, but you should have a good notion about a company before entering into a business agreement with them.
10. Check What Does The Industry Say About Them
Now here is a very simple idea that people often overlook. So many businesses belong to the associations, groups, and different forums. More importantly their clients belong to these too!
Plus you can surf the net and read up on them. But you can get a good feel for a company just by finding out what their competition has to say.
Also many of the business related articles might mention them. For good or bad they will sure mention them at some point!
A warehousing company is like any other business; they are in business to make money. But, in doing so, do they offer good services? Are they in good standing within the industry? Are they reputable? Licensed, bonded, properly insured?
Do they take care of their customers as best as they should? These are all things that you can learn just by getting to know the industry a bit better.
