The pathogens in fact are microorganisms in the form of viruses, bacteria, parasites, as well as fungi. These pathogens can cause harm and death to both humans and animals.
Class7: Radioactive substances
I must not forget to put enough attention to the radioactive substances.
Radioactive substances are highly dangerous goods that can emit ionizing radiation. The radioactive substances are under the Class 7. Thereupon these dangerous goods are divided into three categories:
| Division 7.1. | The maximum radiation level at the surface of the package does not exceed 5sv/hr. |
| Division 7.2. | The radiation level at the surface of the package is more than 5 sv/hr but the maximum does not exceed 2000 sv/hr. |
| Division 7.3. | The radiation level at the surface of the package is more than 500 sv/hr but the maximum does not exceed 2000 sv/hr. |
Class 8: Corrosives
Equally important is Class 8 which is comprising the corrosives. So, these dangerous goods can cause damage is they come in contact with people and animals, that is to say with living tissue.
