Radioactive substances are highly dangerous goods that can emit ionizing radiation. The radioactive substances are under the Class 7. Thereupon these dangerous goods are divided into three categories:

Division 7.1. The maximum radiation level at the surface of the package does not exceed 5sv/hr.
Division 7.2. The radiation level at the surface of the package is more than 5 sv/hr but the maximum does not exceed 2000 sv/hr.
Division 7.3. The radiation level at the surface of the package is more than 500 sv/hr but the maximum does not exceed 2000 sv/hr.


Class 8: Corrosives

Equally important is Class 8 which is comprising the corrosives. So, these dangerous goods can cause damage is they come in contact with people and animals, that is to say with living tissue.
