Thoroughly inspect everything for newly damaged or missing pieces. Just again, make sure you go over this with the driver or other representation, because if something is to happen during the equipment transportation, and you’ve done the inspections on your own, then it’s no way to prove that, and it will be your word against their!
If you do find any issues point them out immediately! Compare your notes from earlier with what you are looking at now.
If you find any issues do not sign for it until they are properly resolved. Because, in most cases once you sign it becomes your problem. This is especially true with things bought form auctions, as they typically won’t have any kind of warranty or guarantee.
8. If There Is Damaged Items Always Take A Picture
Keep in mind; it is always wise to take notes, doing so with the equipment transportation driver or other appropriate representative present. Nothing beats being able to take photographs. After all a picture is worth a thousand words, so think if you take 10 or 20 photos you’ll have a short story!
