But the FMCSA and OSHA have managed to issue rules and regulations about the working hours of truck drivers. These rules and regulations are showing that when a truck driver reaches 70 hours, he is not allowed to drive until he takes 34 hours off duty.
In general, truck drivers are reaching 70 hours by working 14-hour days. But they should keep in mind that they are not allowed to drive more than 11 hours in a day.
Thereupon, each truck driver who is part of the trucking industry in the USA should work in compliance with the “Hours of Service”.
7. Getting Proper Rest And Nutrition Can Be Burdensome
Truck drivers should pay attention to get a proper rest and nutrition in order to stay healthy and fit.
But, unfortunately, there are not a lot of truck drivers who are paying attention to the food that they are eating, as well, they are not taking enough time to exercise. As a result of not paying enough attention, we can see that nowadays there are truckers who are paying a huge role.
