Dwelling on the negatives never takes you anywhere. Therefore, in the first year as a truck driver, make sure you find those positive sides that will make you stay on track. Or even more, will make you love this job and become your dream come true.
The first year as a truck driver will teach you a lot about the freedom of the open road. Which of course comes with independance in the job. Many people find this priceless.
Just try and compare that to an office job. Having to dress up and sit in front of a computer all day looking at the screen. Or, trucking – looking at different scenery every day, dressed up in your favorite comfortable clothes.
Not to mention that, with a short training, you are going to be paid fairly good. And if you are an introverted person this job will make you feel more comfortable. Since, you will not have the need to deal with the public.
