Due to the qualification, a truck driver needs the following medical requirements to fulfill:
- Not having a clinical diagnosis of diabetes requiring insulin intake
- A trucker must not have cardiovascular disease
- The candidate must not have high blood pressure
- Does not have epilepsy
- He does not suffer from any mental, nervous or organic disease
- A driver does not use any narcotic resources
- Is not diagnosed as an alcoholic
In order to fortify all of the above requirements, the candidate must go through the process of the DOT physical examinations.
Class A CDL Rules
Once you get the Class A CDL license you must follow the following rules:
- Not drinking alcohol with concentration of .04% or more
- If a trucker has its license suspended, he is not allowed to drive the vehicle under any circumstances
- Should not drive negligently
- A truck driver is not allowed to text while driving
- Must not higher speed over the limited number
