In our research truck drivers responded that these are the best bonus and incentive items that have the biggest impact on their behavior:
- the incentive for safe and zero tickets driving
- incentive or bonus for low fuel consumption
- bonus for no idling
- route optimization bonus
- on time delivery bonus
- good truck handling
There are, of course, a lot of different things that you can add to this list but these are just some things that make truck drivers react in the best way.
Conclusion
The above-mentioned things are not the only ones that exist on the market. I wrote the list just to be a guide for you in what direction you should think when introducing the incentives and bonuses to prevent truck drivers to leave your company.
