Maybe back in the days I would say was different, but now the female trucker enjoys the same truckers rights that man truckers do, if not even more!
With all those trucking forums, associations and unions geared towards the female trucker, it’s hard to say that trucking is a men job and it’s a men world we leave in!
Like a perfect example, I would like to mention here theWomen in Trucking Association. This association is a non-profit organization focused on the transportation and logistics industry. They deal and care about everything that have to do with the female trucker.
Their mission is to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and in same time minimize obstacles that female trucker face on a daily bases.
