Minimum Limit for Cargo Securement Devices
This section includes securing articles against the movement which is done with an aggregate working cargo limit. The limit is:
- Half the working cargo limit of every tiedown going from anchor point to the attachment point
- The limit for every tiedown going from anchor point through, over and (or) around the cargo attaching to another anchor point
Special Rule for Special Vehicles
The special rule applies to the vehicles specifically. For instance, if a vehicle operates one article, it must provide cargo securement adequately to the vehicle.
The same rule applies to the vehicles transporting more articles of freight. Thus, the vehicles are capable of obeying the load limit and performance requirements.
