Ok, again you’re a truck driver so the hours can be long. You won’t spend much time at home and need to keep a balance between highway and home, but you do have more options for rest. Not only is it more enforced, but the opportunities are there.

Now obviously I didn’t cover everything, such as a regular truck driver can see more of the countryside. He/she will have a more comfortable ride and often better equipment. So, the choice is yours!

What is the Demand for Oil Field Trucking?

And even do there is a need of oil field trucking jobs candidates and appears that supply and demand economics are coming into play when it comes to oilfield jobs, this doesn’t affect the OTR driver pay for now!

On the other side, the bad weather and the working conditions that the oil field trucking offers make lots of drivers choose the OTR driving instead of the better-paid oil field trucking.
