I will start with the oilfield trucking jobs. This type of trucking can be grueling from time to time. And why is that so? Well, it is so, because oilfield truck drivers have more responsibilities than OTR truck drivers.  From time to time oilfield truck drivers get to drive longer routes than over-the-road truck drivers.

All in all, both oilfield trucking jobs and OTR driving jobs can bring a lot of benefits for truck drivers. Since these are the two fields in the trucking industry  that are contributing a lot to the overall USA economy, straight proportionally the truck drivers that are part of it are getting higher salaries than the conventional truck drivers are.
