7. Woody Bogler Trucking Co.
This company it’s known to be among the top 10 trucking companies in Missouri. They have a reach and long history dating from back in the 20’s when William Bogler founded the business with one singe horse drawn wagon only!
He used this wagon for carrying clay, back and forward to the railroad, and from there the clay was further transported to the brick plants. Later on, in 1924 he bought his first truck. It was a chain driven truck from “International” brand.
William Woodrow “Woody” Bogler was digging clay and helping his father even as a child. Later on, when he was a young man and joined the army, he saved and sent to the States every single penny he earned, to be ready for him for when he get back!
After his return from Korea in 1954, he took over his father’s company and then is when the company’s’ name was changed from “Bogler Trucking” to “Woody Bogler Trucking”.
