- You can really shop around and find some good deals in the many unclaimed fright furniture stores. But they have more than just new stuff. Sometimes they might have used stuff; after all, unclaimed freight isn’t just things fresh from the factory. So you might find yourself a steal of a deal if you are willing to purchase gently used items. Of course you want to check them over. And if you are concerned about the idea, no one will know but you.
- There are other ways to get some good deals. The best is of course free! So how do you get free furniture? Well sometimes the unclaimed freight is left out for anyone to take it (free stuff almost always goes quickly). The other thing is that stores will offer deals on things they are trying to unload. Perhaps they got a shipment chairs but along with it was an excessive number of end tables. They might give the table away just to sell the chair.
- Most stores have a set price and that is that. But many will allow you to barter and haggle the price. Or, you can get them to cut you a deal; if you take a table and chairs perhaps they can throw two extra chairs in. Also some of the unclaimed freight furniture outlets might sponsor auctions, where you can bid for the items you want. EBay being the obvious example of this, allowing you to bid on items in hopes you can get them cheap!
