If we lived in a perfect world we could leave ours doors unlocked and our kids would still be able to play outside. But thanks to ‘stranger danger’ and other concerns of the world we live in this is not the case. So what is one to do?
Well first off the most obvious thing is to secure your stuff and lock your doors. If your truck has any exposed cargo hatches, lock them as well. Next, you need to look into good security system; there are several varieties to choose from.
These days you can find pretty much everything on the market; from the kind that makes a sound to those with engine cut-off and GPS trailer tracking. While you are at it secure your fuel tank with a good locking cap and an anti-siphoning device.

I have mentioned these in several other articles. There are a lot to choose from and people will have their own opinions as to which are the best ones to join and participate in. I guess it really depends on what you’re hoping to gain from them. Actually I hope people include some in the comments area, even I would like to see what else is out there.
