Don’t pack too much and keep it as light as you can! Don’t forget that this is just a small truck cabin and you don’t have much space to work with. Now if you have one of those extended cabins, then it’s a different story! Pack only the most important but essential stuff because, after all you will have time and opportunity to stop and shop for some more needed items.
- When it comes to food and beverages I will suggest you to bring along enough water bottles and some snacks to last you for a day. Everything else can be bought on one of the next truck stops or when you stop for refilling. If you can afford then buy yourself a microwave and a mini fridge.
- You should always take the weather into consideration when going on longer trips. Check online the weather forecast of the location you are traveling, to determine what you should take with you. Pack clothing for at least one day extra, and always have with you a raincoat.
- Pack personal hygiene products like: hand sanitizer, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste and other personal hygiene products that you use on a daily bases.
