I know there are some people who can’t sleep in total complete darkness. Heck, I am one of them! There are others who can’t sleep without some kind of background noise. But the best thing for getting good sleep is have it as dark and quiet as possible, or at least as you are comfortable. This helps the brain to naturally switch to ‘sleep’ mode. Getting good rest is one the most important things a driver can do.
