By the calls that National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) received in 2011,
• 185 calls were from truck drivers
• More than 50% of the calls were trafficking tips
• 79 of the calls were about unique cases connected with suspicions and potential actions of human trafficking
I said that it is important to react on time in these situations so maybe we could save human lives. I will share a story from a truck driver that has a good conclusion at the end.

Willis Wolfswinkel a truck driver parked in a lot while finishing his log book he was interrupted by the knocking sound of two girls. Knowing what they offer he waived them out giving them in mind that he is not interested in the services that they provide.
Short after he started to get anxious. Those girls looked like they were too young. Girls continued to knock on the trucks that were parked in the lot. Willis Wolfswinkel didn’t want to be part of those activities so he called 911.
In the meanwhile, they went inside one truck on the same lot. After a short time, police arrived at the location where Willis was parked. The call that Willis made that day started a major investigation.
It turned that the girls were 14 and 15 years old kidnapped out of Toledo and forced to truck stop prostitution. Because of this act of humanity these girls were saved!
