The grill cover will:
- Warm up the engine faster
- Improve the fuel economy because in the low temperatures the truck engine is not warming up properly and burn more fuel
- In the winter it will protect the radiator from salt and sand
The cold and the frost will suck the life of the water pump, the engine, and the truck radiator too if you don’t protect them from the direct influence of these extreme conditions.
NOTE:
- When you are installing truck radiator cover you need to left an uncovered area to protect the engine from suffocation. The uncovered part will allow air flow through the radiator area.
- Remember to remove it out when the temperatures rise
- Also, you can use a cardboard as replacement of the radiator cover. The cardboard will block the low temperatures and the cold air from getting to the truck radiator.
